4/Along with anything else that you might look at, I think how you are treated on reception gives you a huge clue.  If a telephone psychic reading company is reputable, you can have an informal chat about what kind of psychic reading is right for you and which reader might suit you without ever feeling under pressure to go ahead and have a psychic reading.
We found Karee Moore via the internet. She had great reviews so we gave her a shot. Super glad that we did because she did not disappoint. Our loved one was slow coming through but once he did Karee did a wonderful job. She is inviting and makes you feel very comfortable with the whole process. We came from Nevada. I know it can be scary reaching out to a medium and not knowing if they are the real deal. She is and we are very thankful to her. She has a beautiful gift let her share it with you!
Quality: All Readers on APN Tested before hire: Our readers do not "join" us. Instead, they perform a live reading for the HR Director. Only 2-3% of reader applicants pass our test. Usually from 400 applicants we hire about 2.  The test is straight forward.  They applicant must give a live reading and it must be accurate with past and the present.  It must be clear that reading style and technique is present in giving a  reading.
Psychic Phone Readings: Our advisors have spent years honing their skills in the art of spiritual intuitive communication. They are able to provide accurate psychic readings over the phone without the need for you to be physically in their presence. Additionally, we have recently introduced a feature where phone psychic discussions can be provided to you via email in an .mp3 format. With this great feature, you can relax in knowing that you will never forget the important advice that was conveyed in your session.
In 2013 Rose Marks and members of her family were convicted of fraud for a series of crimes spanning 20 years entailing between $20 and $45 million. They told vulnerable clients that to solve their problems they had to give the purported psychics money and valuables. Marks and family promised to return the cash and goods after "cleansing" them. Prosecutors established they had no intent to return the property.[196][197][198]

I dug them out again this spring for a foray into a career as a phone psychic—the latest installment of “Human Guinea Pig,” a column in which I am supposed to explore intriguing corners of life, but in which, so far, I mostly humiliate myself. (Like here, for example.) Locating openings for my extrasensory services was easy. I went to an online job site and typed “psychic” into the search engine. I sent e-mails to the three companies listed, and two—I’ll call them ESP Net and Chakra Con—sent me back contracts to fill out.

“Hi Denise, I just wanted to thank you once again for the amazing reading you gave me this afternoon. I already knew you were the real deal, but the validation that comes from the reading is amazing. Connecting me with Jack and Earl was beyond what I expected. They meant a great deal to me, and were very instrumental in helping to shape me into the person I am today. I was pretty emotional from finding out that they had passed, but elated at the same time, knowing that they are watching over me, and helping to guide me through my mo...“
The Internet exists, yet it doesn’t actually occupy a physical location. It’s a collection of energy, if you will, with millions of portals for logging in. You can access it with your computer, phone, tablet—and from anywhere in the world. Your energy field, and any other field of reference that a psychic accesses (astral planes, Akashic records, other dimensions, etc.), is like the Internet: it’s a collection of energy that can be accessed by anyone, anywhere. And, like the Internet, there is a lot of info out there that isn’t relevant or useful to a client, and so the psychic doesn’t use it or might not even perceive it.

During our interview, ESP’s manager “Sandy” told me I would make $7 an hour. (The contract indicated I could make as much as $12 an hour.) But it turned out the “per hour” meant not how much time I was logged on but how much time I had callers on the line. Various places in the contract and the guidance site indicated that during a “pay period” of uncertain length, I had to have talked for 30, 120, or 600 minutes in order to qualify for a paycheck. I realized I could make more money if I set up a card table in front of my house and asked for donations for readings.
7/After all that, when you know what you want to discuss, have chosen your company and your psychic reader, go ahead and have a reading.  If you don’t feel that the psychic reader has connected with you within the first few minutes – end the call!  I really can’t emphasise enough that there is no point you sitting through a psychic reading thinking, well this isn’t what I want.  Again, any exceptional psychic reader will say if they feel that they can’t make a connection (it happens to the best of us!) and will send you back to reception.  If you’ve booked a credit card reading, with my company you can ask for your money to be refunded in full or your pin credited if the call was ended within the first five minutes.  Every company is different, so check whether that’s the case before you go ahead and book a telephone psychic reading by credit card.

If you’ve done any research online for the top psychics, you’ve likely come across plenty of websites claiming to offer free readings by phone or chat.  This is usually just a gimmick to get you on the phone.  Usually the medium or clairvoyant will allow you to ask them a free question, but you’ll likely only receive some general advice from a script.

From its earliest beginnings to contemporary times, mediumship practices have had many instances of fraud and trickery.[52] Séances take place in darkness so the poor lighting conditions can become an easy opportunity for fraud. Physical mediumship that has been investigated by scientists has been discovered to be the result of deception and trickery.[53] Ectoplasm, a supposed paranormal substance, was revealed to have been made from cheesecloth, butter, muslin, and cloth. Mediums would also stick cut-out faces from magazines and newspapers onto cloth or on other props and use plastic dolls in their séances to pretend to their audiences spirits were contacting them.[54] Lewis Spence in his book An Encyclopaedia of Occultism (1960) wrote:

Jump up ^ LeCron, Leslie; Bordeaux, Jean (1970). Hypnotism Today. Wilshire Book Co. p. 278. ISBN 0-87980-081-X. When in a trance ... the medium seems to come under the control of another personality, purportedly the spirit of a departed soul, and a genuine medium undoubtedly believes the 'control' to be a spirit entity ... In the trance, the medium often enters a cataleptic state marked by extreme rigidity. The control then takes over, the voice may change completely ... and the supposed spirit answers the questions of the sitter, telling of things 'on the other plane' and gives messages from those who have 'passed over.'

For example, if a spirit wants to give the psychic medium the name Sandy, they might flash (in the psychic medium’s mind) the face of a person whom the psychic medium knows named Sandy. If they want to get the psychic medium to say the word “coffee,” they might show the psychic medium someone’s cat that had the name Coffee. This can be confusing and requires that the psychic medium interpret what they are seeing in their mind. For instance, the psychic medium might say cat rather than coffee; and to the person being read, the psychic medium might appear wrong when the psychic medium is actually just “misinterpreting” the message.
I am from Los Angeles, California and currently live in Orlando, Florida. As a child I was always aware of spirits being around me. At the age of 8, I was holding my great grandmother's hand when she passed. After she passed I would see her and hear her speaking to me all of the time. I honestly thought that it was my imagination and that it was just my way of trying to keep her around. Over the years I had various experiences with spirits, but didn't really understand what was happening, so I shut it down for awhile.
On Fox News on the Geraldo at Large show, October 6, 2007, Geraldo Rivera and other investigators accused Schwartz as a fraud as he had overstepped his position as a university researcher by requesting over three million dollars from a bereaved father who had lost his son. Schwartz claimed to have contacted the spirit of a 25-year-old man in the bathroom of his parents house and it is alleged he attempted to charge the family 3.5 million dollars for his mediumship services. Schwartz responded saying that the allegations were set up to destroy his science credibility.[194][195]
