Mediumship became quite popular in the 19th-century United States and the United Kingdom after the rise of Spiritualism as a religious movement. Modern Spiritualism is said to date from practices and lectures of the Fox sisters in New York State in 1848. The trance mediums Paschal Beverly Randolph and Emma Hardinge Britten were among the most celebrated lecturers and authors on the subject in the mid-19th century. Allan Kardec coined the term Spiritism around 1860.[12] Kardec claimed that conversations with spirits by selected mediums were the basis of his The Spirits' Book and later, his five-book collection, Spiritist Codification.
In the late 1920s and early 1930s there were around one quarter of a million practising Spiritualists and some two thousand Spiritualist societies in the UK in addition to flourishing microcultures of platform mediumship and 'home circles'.[18] Spiritualism continues to be practiced, primarily through various denominational spiritualist churches in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. In the United Kingdom, over 340 spiritualist churches and centres open their doors to the public and free demonstrations of mediumship are regularly performed.[19]
There was on item that I had no idea about until I was sharing my reading with friend. My mother kept bringing up spaghetti. I had no clue. Karee asked questions to see how it related but there was absolutely nothing that I could connect it with. We're not Italian, at least not mom. She didn't make it often. It wasn't her favorite. Mom was a good cook and everything tasted great, but spaghetti wasn't something she excelled at. Just couldn't see how it fit. Then a friend of my relayed a story my mom always told. I was mom's first and only child. She had gone to her OB for a check up and the doctor asked if she was feeling anything particularly strange and she said not really. And he asked her if she felt a "tightening" in her stomach. And she said well sort of. He explained to her that she was in labor and that he wanted her at the hospital NOW. Evidently, her and my dad had plans on going out to dinner that night. And evidently the joy of having a child was greatly overshadowed by her missing out on her SPAGHETTI dinner that evening. So now the spaghetti ties in and makes perfect sense.o fur
A kind gesture. An empathetic listener. A best friend. A gentle touch that says "don't worry, everything will be ok!” A hug that energizes you and fills your heart. A Warm embrace. Maybe it’s a purr from your kitty or a puppy kiss on the nose. Valentine’s Day means different things to different people. It symbolizes the most powerful energy in the universe and that is LOVE. Love is the bridge that connects us to our loved ones here on earth and in the spirit world. Love is what heals our hearts. My sister and brother in-law just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! They have been through the good and the bad together and are great role models for couples in love. They have worked at it! One question that many of my clients are interested in is their love life. Will I meet my soul mate? Because we create most of our destiny by the choices we make, I really believe that if we want to have a romance in our lives, we will have one. As I wrote in my book Love Karma, some people energetically block love from entering their lives. Sometimes past experiences that didn’t work out caused heartache, making them more cautious to open their hearts again. During our session we have energetically unblocked that so they are open to having a relationship again.  I always say “no guts, no glory!” With all the crazy energy going on in our world, the one and only thing we can count on is love. Start with self-love. I always say it’s the first true love. When you love yourself you are then capable to find a healthy romance and partner. In the last forty plus years I have predicted many love connections!
“This was the most therapeutic “counseling” that I have ever witnessed. There was catharsis, healing, and hope for everyone who joined us in these sessions. Undoubtedly, some will dismiss the possibility of this kind of spiritual assistance; if I hadn’t seen it and benefited from it personally, I might have been one of them. But, to those who may be open to it, I see this as pioneering work with the possibility of greatly enhancing our understanding of the root causes and conditions surrounding the diseases of addiction....“
“I made an appointment to see Denise approximately 3 weeks after my younger brother passed away to see if I could connect with him. This was my very first experience with a medium and was a little nervous but very excited to see if my brother would come through to me. Denise made me feel so comfortable when she read for me. Not only did my brother come through but many others did. I was confused in the reading because some of the things Denise told me I did not know about or understand and she told me that I should ask family and frien...“

No one wants a dodgy psychic reading so keep your wits about you! Trust is the most important thing in a psychic reading. You need to be able to trust that whoever you are having a psychic reading with is a genuine clairvoyant, is working on a high spiritual plane to give a good, honest, empowering reading, and who can help you work out what you need to do to move forward in your own life. While also not making the decisions for you. A good psychic helps you step into your own super powers and liberates you to connect with your own intuition.
In 1907, Hereward Carrington exposed the tricks of fraudulent mediums such as those used in slate-writing, table-turning, trumpet mediumship, materializations, sealed-letter reading and spirit photography.[107] between 1908 and 1914 the Italian medium Francesco Carancini was investigated by psychical researchers and they discovered that he used phosphorus matches to produce "spirit lights" and with a freed hand would move objects in the séance room.[108]
We use our intuition all the time without realising it, we may even call it 'a gut feeling' but we have all experienced that sense of 'knowing'. It is us however who decide whether or not to develop our gifts further. Commonly, Psychics will tell you that they were 'guided' by spirit or the universe to follow a spiritual path; this is an innate part of who Psychics are. .
