According to the magician John Booth the stage mentalist David Devant managed to fool a number of people into believing he had genuine psychic ability who did not realize that his feats were magic tricks. At St. George's Hall, London he performed a fake "clairvoyant" act where he would read a message sealed inside an envelope. The spiritualist Oliver Lodge who was present in the audience was duped by the trick and claimed that Devant had used psychic powers. In 1936 Devant in his book Secrets of My Magic revealed the trick method he had used.[159]
7th Sense Psychics has been around for over 15 years, providing psychic phone services. In that time we have built a strong reputation and developed a loyal following. Key to our success has been the way we hire our readers and how we treat our customers. All our psychics have undergone a rigorous screening program to test their abilities. Every reading comes with 100% satisfaction guarantee. Unlike other psychic service providers, 7th Sense is not merely a shop window for psychics, letting anyone ply their wares on our website. Instead, we employ our psychics, under contracts, and make serious demands of them. If a 7th Sense Reader does not live up to the expectations of customers, we will take appropriate action.

Furthermore, she learned her trade from the mediums Frank Herne and Charles Williams, who were notorious for their cheating." Also see M. Lamar Keene. (1997). The Psychic Mafia. Florence had been trained in the arts of the séance by Frank Herne, a well-known physical medium whose materializations were grabbed on more than one occasion and found to be the medium himself."
There are all kinds of downsides to this sort of work: No 401(k), having to lie and exploit the gullible, the medical bills incurred after psychic duels -- but at least the hours are flexible. You're expected to work 40 hours a week, but which hours are up to you. Here's how it works: you dial in, and your number goes green whenever you get a call, just like suicide hotlines. They monitor how long you spend talking to each client, and you keep taking calls until your personal well of bullshit dries up. You know those "work from home and make $5000 a month" ads that get plastered around college campuses? This is what that's about.

Try actively communicating with spirits. A good way to start is by finding a medium ship circle, a group of mediums who gather to receive messages from the other side. This will give you an introduction to the setting that should be arranged for effective communication. Once you're comfortable with the process, try it on your own, or invite other mediums to join you.

By being able to see things from different angles, and indeed, realms, clairvoyant mediums can provide insight that you might not be able to perceive yourself. What makes clairvoyant readings extraordinary is that the clairvoyant psychic is able to connect you to memories, events, emotions, and predictions that would remain inaccessible to you otherwise. In other words, clairvoyant mediums provide a bridge between you and the spiritual realm – whether it’s your own subconscious knowledge, the greater collective unconscious, angels, spirit guides, or the powerful energies all around you.
